Community Mediation Upper Shore (CMUS)

Who We Are

Mediation is a process that brings people together to clarify issues, discuss options and, if possible, reach an agreement. It is an alternative to non-resolution or costly legal measures. CMUS' volunteer training program represents a unique opportunity for volunteers to obtain hands on experience and skills in mediation. Our volunteer mediators work directly with people in disputes; easing tensions, establishing trust, and helping the participants find solutions.

There are other ways to volunteer as well, such as outreach, marketing, assisting with events and fundraising.

What We Do

CMUS provides free and accessible conflict resolution services  through mediation, education, and training  to promote respectful resolution of conflicts and disputes throughout Cecil, Kent and Queen Anne's counties.
